Many porn stars in the past have attempted the leap from film to music take Katie Prick for example,with varying success, but Carsten Andersson has already been enjoying widespread exposure in Europe.
His debut single ‘Fun’ has already been a top ten hit in Scandinavia, and is produced by Zebra 1, the London-based team behind the Sugababes.
The 25-year-old told Frontiers Web: “Without my porn past, I’d be just another boy with a song out. Porn has made people take notice.”
The Danish-German former porn star joins Traci Lords, Zeb Atlas and Jeff Stryker in adding music to his quiver.
He performed at last year’s Eurovision contest, but Andersson is currently courting some controversy by doubting Lady Gaga’s credentials.
He said of the pop star: “Most things I see from her seem copied from artists of the past.”
Carsten Andersson started his porn career using the pseudonym Ashton Sorenson, and most recently worked with Michael Lucas’s Lucas Entertainment studio.
